By registering for, attending, or participating in the Freedom & Fire creative expressions / writing workshop and Masterclass (“Workshop”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Eligibility and Access
The Workshop website and Workshop registration are intended for individuals 21 years of age and older, unless otherwise noted for a specific event or offering. By using the website, registering, or attending, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and are legally able to enter into this agreement.
2. Payment
The website accepts most major credit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All payment information must be accurate and complete at the time of purchase.
3. Refunds and Transfers
All sales are final; refunds are not available for any reason, including non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel issues, or a change of mind. If you are unable to attend, your payment may be transferred to another person, subject to approval by the event organizer and any notice requirements communicated at the time of transfer.
4. Purpose of the Workshop
Freedom & Fire is designed to help participants uncover, access, and express their own creativity, voice, and emotions in a healthy and creative way. The Workshop does not give anyone creativity; rather, it provides structure, prompts, support, and an environment intended to help participants draw out what is already within them. Results depend on the participant’s own openness, effort, and engagement. We want everyone to enjoy their experience and hope each participant shows up ready for the journey.
5. Participant Responsibility
Participants understand that they will get out of the Workshop what they put into it. The Workshop may provide guidance, tools, and inspiration, but participation, reflection, and practice are each participant’s responsibility. No specific outcome, personal breakthrough, artistic result, or emotional experience is guaranteed.
6. Intellectual Property
Each participant remains the sole owner of their own original work, including any writing, spoken word, reflections, or other creative material they create during the Workshop, except where otherwise agreed in writing. The Workshop, facilitator, and venue do not claim ownership of a participant’s original intellectual property or copyrights.
7. Conduct and Removal
Participants are expected to treat the facilitator, other participants, and the venue with respect. The facilitator reserves the right to remove any participant from the Workshop, without refund, if behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, harassing, unsafe, intoxicated, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful to the learning environment or venue.
8. Venue Responsibility
Participants are responsible for any damage, breakage, or loss caused by their actions while at the venue. If a participant damages property belonging to the venue, facilitator, or another person, that participant may be held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs.
9. Assumption of Responsibility
By attending the Workshop, participants acknowledge that creative expression can involve personal reflection and emotional material. Participants remain responsible for their own choices, participation, and use of any information, exercises, or techniques shared.
10. Changes to the Workshop
The organizer may modify the Workshop format, schedule, location, or content when necessary. Reasonable efforts will be made to communicate material changes in advance.
11. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing a ticket, registering for the Workshop, or attending in person or online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
